As your locally owned and operated full service grocery store, our main goal is to provide the Surface Creek area with the best prices, freshest produce, juiciest meats, biggest selection, and delicious deli/bakery! At Cedaredge Foodtown, we strive to provide these products and services with a smile. We sell local in season Olathe Sweet corn, local vegetables, local apples, local peaches, local pears, local cherries, local honey...shop local!
Foodtown provides daily hand cut meats, pork, and poultry by our meat department team. Our Bakery/Deli also serves fresh daily donuts, lunches, hot plates, and variety of cold cuts. In our Produce department we strive to provide all seasonal and local products available to us.
Foodtown offers other in store opportunities like Redbox video rentals, MoneyGram services, Rug Doctor, gift cards/certificates, Colorado Lottery, Fish and Game licenses, greeting cards/floral, and a Pharmacy.
Our Story
Cedaredge Mercantile opened in their new building in April of 1998 to the owners Roger & Barb Bynum and Jerry & Pat Ford. Cedaredge outgrew their previous location on Main Street downtown. In this new, much larger location the Meat, Produce, Frozen, and Dairy departments were greatly improved. They were able to offer Cedaredge the full service Deli, Bakery, and Pharmacy.
In 2010 the 'Merc" was bought and taken over by Roger and Barb's oldest son Blake and his wife Danielle. At this time we felt that the Foodtown headline better served the idea of providing all available foods to the customers of the area.
Blake, Danielle, and team strive to provide a great atmosphere, selection, service, and local charm to all those who come through Foodtown's doors.
